Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Peel, core, and slice apples; toss with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
- Roll out half the pie dough and fit it into a pie pan.
- Fill the crust with the apple mixture; dot with butter.
- Cover with the top crust; seal edges and cut vents.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool before serving.
