- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cups diced potatoes (russet or Yukon Gold)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar and mozzarella blend)
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef with diced onion until cooked through.
- Mix in diced potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Layer half of the mixture in the greased baking dish; top with half of the cheese. Repeat layers.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
