- 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced into thin strips
- 2 cups fresh bell peppers (1 red, 1 green), sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Marinate the sliced beef in soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté chopped onions until translucent (about 3 minutes).
- Increase heat and add marinated beef to the pan. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Stir in sliced bell peppers and minced garlic; cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until veggies are tender but still crisp.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary, serve hot garnished with green onions.
