Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time; add vanilla extract, orange zest, and orange juice.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet until just combined; fold in white chocolate chips if using.
- Drop dough onto prepared sheets about two inches apart and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden on the edges.
- Let cool slightly before transferring to wire racks.
