Ingredients
- 3 cups ziti pasta
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Italian seasoning to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish.
- Cook ziti pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef; drain excess fat.
- Combine cooked pasta, browned beef, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, and half the mozzarella in a bowl.
- Layer half the mixture in the baking dish; add marinara sauce on top then remaining mixture followed by mozzarella.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until golden.
