Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 8 taco shells (soft flour tortillas or crunchy corn shells)
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it up with a wooden spoon.
- Add taco seasoning and a splash of water; stir and simmer for about five minutes until thickened.
- While the meat simmers, chop the lettuce and tomatoes, and shred the cheese.
- Warm taco shells in the oven or on the stovetop until soft.
- Assemble tacos by layering seasoned meat, fresh veggies, cheese, and sour cream in each shell.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
