- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 8 oz spaghetti or linguine (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse shrimp under cold water and pat dry.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter until bubbly. Add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
- Pour in white wine and simmer for two minutes to reduce slightly.
- Add shrimp in a single layer; cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over shrimp and sprinkle with red pepper flakes; stir gently.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately over pasta or enjoy on its own.
