- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp fresh rosemary or thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Pat chicken breasts dry and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, and herbs.
- Place chicken in a shallow dish and pour marinade over it; let sit for at least 15 minutes.
- Transfer marinated chicken to the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing; drizzle remaining sauce over each piece before serving.
